- About our club:
Welcome to the Kirstenbosch Lions Club. We are part of the International Association of Lions Clubs, the world's largest and most active service club organisation, founded in Chicago in 1917 and founded in South Africa in 1957. South Africa falls within Lions Multiple District 410, and our Club is affiliated to District 410a.We're fortunate enough to have a clubhouse situated in the leafy garden suburb of Kirstenbosch on the lower slopes of Cape Town's famous Table Mountain. In existence for more than 40 years, we are proud to have provided Lions to fulfil the roles of, among others, International Director and District Governor.
We also have a very active Kirstenbosch Leo Club.
